Being a leader doesn't mean you take advantage of others and push the work around.
Being a leader doesn't mean you pretend to do the most work and act as if you're the one that gets things going.
Being a leader doesn't mean you rush others and take the credit for everything.
YOUR definition of a leader is one that is not to be pushed around. YOUR definition of a leader is one who is in charge. But you know what, your definition is pretty screwed. Just as you are, because I hope you realise that half the class hates you now.
You don't realise that being a leader means taking the initiative, and doing the most work. You completely neglect the part where being a leader means serving others. Honestly, I don't see where you're coming from.
It's not about playing the bad guy and making yourself get hated for the sake of the group doing well. If it was so, you'd be trying to take on more work instead of being all presumptious and bossy.
A leader is nurtured, yes that is true. But unless you change (and given your ZERO self-awareness I doubt you ever will), you will NEVER be a true leader.
You're just not good enough. So my advice to you would be to give up. Give up before you get hated even further. By the way, good luck when you grow up and work, because you'd surely need all the luck you can get.
