Mummy: Therese, go and read the newspaper article on this girl who got her grade 5 in piano at the age of 6.
Me: Since you just told me, why must i read it?
Mummy: To help you get inspired.
Me: But i don't even care about piano! I'm not going to read it. Anyway, that girl is obviously some child prodigy.
Mummy: But you're pudgy *starts laughing*
Me: Huh? Do you mean to say like pudgy as in fat, or PART of a prodiGY
Mummy: *still laughing* Actually i meant it to be part of a prodigy, but when i turned to look at you, i realised it should be PUDGY. HAHAHAHA. It's called a play of words!
*gets excited and continues laughing*
Yeah, so helpful towards my self-esteem.
And JEAN! SO ANNOYING! The moment she comes home she crushes my self-esteem because i look at her legs and realise they are so much smaller!
Like 2/3 the size of mine.
And joan LOVESSSS telling me how fat i am now keeps emphasizing how much skinnier jean is compared to me.
):
No manners.
Hmmph.
See, at least Jean tries to be nice.
Me: Jean, can you tell how much fatter I've grown now?
Jean: Er...er....ya.
