Day 6- Solvang, Hearst Castle

Day 6 - Solvang, Hearst Castle

On our way to Solvang, we rode along to Pacific Coast.

SOLVANGGG!
It's this totally adorable "denmark" city where everything looks like it's from a cartoon. With weird shophouses, windmills and whatnot.
Though it's kinda commercialised. I still liked it though.

Omg, I find marge's mouth here amusing :D
SOLVANG BAKERY! It's sells danish pastries, pretty good.

Carriage? :D

Phone booth.

The guy there's Joe. He is an annoying to the maxzxz tourguide who speaks horrible english and thinks that he doesn't get enough tips. And he acts funny.
Point is, he sucks.

ISN'T IT CUTE? *coos*

Initially, we didn't want to go to Hearst Castle cos' my uncle said it's more of an artificial touristy thing. But i'm glad we did cos' we really liked it.

This place is the only Castle on american soil and owned by i forgot who. Yeah, anyway he collects European art and whatnot, so much so that when he died he owed like a billion dollars or something cos' of the many art pieces he purchased.

We went to a totally different section of the place from mummy and daddy cos' we bought the tickets ourselves at like HALF THE PRICE cos' we're considered youths. Yay.

It's humongous and divided into 4 sections, each of which is a different tour.
The pictures do no justice to what you see in real life. >:/

Going upp!

END OF DADDY'S PHOTOS. 3. I KNOW, PATHETIC.

Omg, i wanted to jump in the water so badly.

It's hugeee.

Even all the ceilings are a piece of art

Underground pool

That's our adorable tourguide :D
Who although spits saliva constantly, is super cute and funny.
The hill on which Hearst Castle is built (:

I can't help myself, sunsets with the pacific coast is just...wow.
It takes my breath away.

THIS TOOK ME SO BLOODY LONG. I CAN NOW DIE IN PEACE. AGAIN.

Love,
marie
