Day 4! Las Vegas, Grand Canyon

Day 4! :D

We went to Hoover Dam first before going to the Grand Canyon.

Started off shittily, cos while jean went to marge room i went to mummy's room and i didn't take out the room card (and neither did jean)

So we were both locked out of the room and couldn't get an extra card, hence i had to wear daddy's totally oversized and ugly jacket and walked about in slippers in the sandy sand.

Yeah.

Woahh, the drive there was longgg. Took about 1 hour+ to go to Hoover Dam and another like 3 hours to go to the Grand Canyon.

Booo.

Photos are of mostly myself. Duh. It's my blog.

On the way out of Las Vegas

Prettyyy (:

Hoover dam, can't see the water though

Pretty self-explanatory.

BTW, that's zilian marge who kept demanding for people to take pictures of her INDIVIDUALLY. And she'd be grumpy if you come into the photo. Like around 20 photos in grand canyon itself?! Up to the point when all of us were so annoyed by her.
Hmmm, not too photogenic though :D
That's PAPPY. A fortune teller. apparently.

Yeppos, that's the end of hoover dam.

The barren desert on the way up to Grand Canyon.

GRAND CANYON! It's a plateau.
I was very proud of myself for knowing the word when i saw it :D
Teehee.

Oh yeah, the DANGERS lurking behind. Creepyness.
The tour guide said that every year there would be at least a few accidents that would happen. You'll like die if you accidentally fall down cos' it's kinda high up.
Jean refused to go anywhere near the edge.

That's some native indian performance (or a fake one)
The land there belongs to the native indians.

AND I'M GOING TO LOOK VERY UGLY IN THE PICTURES FROM NOW ON, BECAUSE OF THE WIND. DID I MENTION HOW UGLY I LOOK WHEN THE WIND BLOWS MY HAIR? AND EVEN WORSE WHEN IT COMBINES WITH THE SUN. GRRR.
Told you the jacket was gross.

And how ugly i look.

The wooden tents thing where people supposedly used to live in.
Observe joan's weird hands o.O

Ahhh, so beautiful.

See that little red thingy at the side? That's the skywalk tour.

And guess what you pay to walk on that pathetic 20metres thing? 25USD per person.
Stupid much. And the thing is you can't bring your camera there.
They have like people to take your photo there for 30USD bucks.
They call it "A bridge suspended in the air" where you supposedly get a "breathtaking view"
Again, stupid much. Thank god we didn't go on it.

Haha, this is cute.

TOLD YOU!

The shadows at the different times of the day are supposed to be intriguing. Didn't find so.

Sunset on the way back. It was super pretty in real life.
Sunset at Grand Canyon. Can you tell that this is a poster? (:
I would have loved to see it, but we had already left.

Pictures can't capture the beauty of it.
Sunsets in america are AMAZING. I swear.
Love,
marie
